Do you know that the freshwater that human rely on are highly sensitive to variation in weather. In 2007, IPCC reported that climate change have a net negative effect on water resources as well as freshwater ecosystem in all regions. this will also affect energy sector as thermal power stations depend on water to cool them and this has to be fresh water as salt water can be corrosive. Decrease in supply of  freshwater may also affect the function of nuclear power plant. this situation could for nuclear reactors to shut down as it happened in France in 2003 and 2006 during heat waves. when this occurs the electricity supply to the people will be affected
