YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ATTAINMENTS

I read in a book  where a preacher  preached a sermon titled "miracles come in cans", which was inspired by the words of the apostle Paul who said, i can do all things through christ that strengthens me" [phil. 4:13]. The person who reaches great heights is the person with the "i can" attitude which permits him to accomplish great attainments. Glenn  Cunningham is an expiring example.
Born on a kansas farm and educated in a room school, Glenn lived a tough and difficult existence as a boy . He his brother were responsible for keeping the school 's fire going. One morning when the boys poured kerosene on live coals, the stove blew sky high . Glenn would have escaped, but his brother had left behind. rushing back to help, he suffered terrible burns, as did his brother. his brother died, and  Glenn's leg sustained severe damage.
The story does not end here, however. Gleen had long dreamed of setting a track record. through a period of discouragement, disappointment, threatened meaninglessness he somehow kept going more than that, he made up his mind that he would run again-and he did. that he would discipline himself and he-did. that he would master the mile-and he-did .That he would break the international record and-he did. Glenn Cunningham achieved world wide fame as the kansas flyer", setting world record in a mile run [4:06.8] in 1934 and 800 meters [1:49.7] 1936. He received the coveted Sullivan  award  in 1933 and as the country's top amateur athlete, finished fourth in the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics at 1,500 meters, and won the silver medal in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. In 1938, when Cunningham ran his fastest mile in 4:04.4, he owned twelve of the thirty-one fastest mile times on record. Glenn Cunningham was inducted into the National Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1979.
Glenn Cunningham purpose in his heart, and his resolve had the power to transform  the ugliest circumstances into the richest blessings Glenn Cunningham had an "i can" attitude. And i also want you to know that Barack Obama in did also had the i can attitude.

Perhaps you' re not reaching your objective in your job because you lack motivation. You have tried and failed, so you have quit trying. Have you really tried your best? On your job... in your marriage... with your education...with your children? Why don't you try for one more time?
This time give it all  you've got. purpose in your heart.
You attitude determines your attainments. And that attitude is reflected by your speech.
